Hey y’all! I’m a coffee-drinking, dog-loving, livestock-raising, book-reading, wife, mama, daughter, and sister. I’m a writer trying to live as authentically as possible; come hang out for a while.

The Husband
I’ve been dating my best friend since 1991 and married to him since 1996. He’s the hardest-working, most caring man I know. I’m so thankful that he’s the guidepost for the man my sons aspire to be and the man my daughter will want to marry.

The Kids
No three kids could be more alike or more different at the same time. These three make me crazy proud (most of the time).

Dakota and Meg
They were married in November of 2023 and had their beautiful baby girl in July of 2025. He is an Agriculture and Natural Resources County Extension Agent and she is an RN at the hospital. Watching their story unfold is a beautiful thing.

Ty and Kim
He’s a manager of a private cattle ranch, and she works for Texas A&M AgriLife Research. There’s no shortage of laughter when you’re with these two.

Gracie Kae
She’s a Digital Content Manager in the western industry. This mini-me lives life by her own rules, I love watching the adventures she has.

My Lorrie girl and Buggie
Being a mama is all I ever wanted to be, now I get to be a Mimi too! Lorrie is the inspiration for my stories and Buggie is who I dreamed about writing them for.
